Tampa Senior Portraits: Corey "Class of 2011"

Senior portraits have come a long way, even since I was in high school.
You don't have to go to Olan Mills or Bryn Alan any more if you want something a little more unique and a little less traditional. It seems that every 17 and 18-year-old wants to be viewed as a unique, special individual so why not make their senior portraits personal to them?
Corey is an artsy, creative, smart guy. He wants to continue his higher education in animation, which I know he'll succeed in! So, when thinking of a place in Tampa to shoot his senior portrait session, Ybor City of course came to mind.
Another characteristic that makes Corey unique is that his whole family owns Mini Coopers. So, it only seemed appropriate to have a few shots of him with his car. We drove to the top of a parking garage to get a clean background and luckily, no one was up there. I know his parents personally and they are both artsy, wonderful people so this was a true honor to photograph him. (They took photos together with all their Mini Coopers for their holiday cards. How adorable is that?)
With some sweet sunset light and a fantastic high school senior, we made some great photos. Thanks Corey!
