Tampa Wedding Photography: Kelli and Michael's Wedding

Simplicity is a beautiful thing.
Kelli and Michael know this is key when planning a wedding. Their April wedding consisted of a beautiful sunset beach ceremony at Honeymoon Island, Florida with their closest family and friends followed by a relaxing reception with good music and good food. That’s really all you need, right?
I applaud their efforts to make their big day special but not complicated.
The bridesmaids wore tangerine dresses and carried a single Calla Lily. The best man wore a cream shirt and khakis. And no shoes allowed!
The ceremony and reception had the traditional outdoor Florida vibe—easy going and full of fun! The only unwanted guests were the mosquitoes but that’s the risk brides and grooms take when planning a Florida beach wedding!
This wedding was a referral from a wonderful couple, the Downings, which I met when Mr. Downing trained my dog two years ago at American Family Dog Training. I then shot their family portraits (including their three German Shepherds) and when Mrs. Downing asked me to shoot her daughter’s wedding, I was so honored. Truly the greatest compliment I receive is a referral from a family member or dear friend of a client. Thank you!
