Tampa Commercial Photography: Back 9 Dips

Back 9 Dips began with a great recipe, a little fate and a couple with a passion for good food.
Nique and David Mealey have taken what was once just a great party dip and built a very successful business from it. I tried their original Buffalo Chicken Dip in 2007 and LOVED it. It truly does taste like a chicken wing on a chip. I’ve served it at many a party and it’s always the hit of my tailgate!
I met the Mealeys when I joined a networking group with Nique and was honored to shoot their engagement portraits when they decided to tie the knot. Now as they move forward in life with their business, I’m thrilled to be a part of the Back 9 family, even if it’s just as “the woman who shoots photos of the dip!”
What is now known as Bubba’s Buffalo Chicken Dip, thanks to their partnership with Tampa legend Bubba the love sponge, is spreading like wildfire! You can find this delicious dip in restaurants, grocery stores and truck stops all over Florida.
The best part about this venture is that they are already launching a new dip—“Southern Sweet Heat”. If you’d like to taste it before all others, stop by the launch party at Hot Rod’s BBQ in Lutz on Thursday, May 26. There will be live music, great BBQ, chicken dip, beer and wine. I hope to see you there!
