Selomeh is one of the happiest children I have ever met. I think every child has a personality, even at a young age. Selomeh is no exception.

Selomeh's parents are not your average couple--Maaza is Ethiopian and Anthony is British. Not something a matchmaker would formulate but it works. And God bless their genes because this child is precious. She will never have to wear a stitch of make up or do a thing with her hair. She has beautiful skin and crazy, curly hair that is a sight to see.

I have known this wonderful family for years. I photographed their wedding and I was overjoyed to hear they were having a child! And I was, of course, honored to be asked to photograph their daughter. She is a photographer's dream come true!

I met them at their New Port Richey home for the family portrait session. They have a really cute house and back patio, which Selomeh had no problem performing on.

Maaza is an amazing woman--I tell her she's Mother Nature all wrapped up in one person. She's a phenomenal mom and seeing her with her child is about the best day I can have as a photographer.
