University of Tampa Spring Journal

The University of Tampa is a very special commercial photography client and even though they run plenty of my images in many different publications, it's always a nice boost to the ego to get a cover photo in the Spring 2010 UT Journal.
This session was a ton of fun--we gathered four local restaurant owners who are also UT alumni. I set up a mock studio in a residence hall on campus. We asked them to bring some of the best food they serve and we would incorporate it in the photo. Little did they know we were planning to get silly!
They were all excellent sports about the photo session and didn’t mind cracking crabs or squirting ketchup on hot dogs. I find that the product always sells itself when the people involved look like they’re having fun!
So, thank you to Anne Rowland and Robin Roger of the University of Tampa Public Information department as well as our subjects—Mike Diogostine and Tyson Caner of Frankies, Andy Bonnemort of Café Dufrain and Tom Geller of Crabby Bill’s. With subjects like these gentlemen, how can you go wrong?
