When Ritchie and Jennifer asked me to photograph their six-month-old twin girls, I was thrilled. I had never photographed twins before and was excited about the challenge. Little did I know that twins are twice the sass, twice the energy and twice the fun!

Dillon and Mackenzie both had amazing personalities for only being in this world for six months. They never cried—they just giggled and stuck their tongue out for me.

I think the parents were more worried than I was about how the family portraits would go. It’s hard enough to keep up with twins when don’t have a photographer in your home following them around. But they were all a pleasure to work with and I hope I get to photograph them this year now that they are one year old!
